When we want a night out that feels like the real Las Vegas, we head to the Arts District. Just south of downtown, this walkable neighborhood trades megaclubs and neon for murals, indie bars, and a genuinely local crowd. Here is how we like to spend an evening there.
Start Early
Come while there is still light to appreciate the street art. The district is covered in murals, and wandering the blocks with no particular destination is half the appeal. Galleries and boutiques give you plenty of excuses to stroll and linger.
Eat and Drink Like a Local
The food and drink scene here is where the neighborhood shines. Independent restaurants, craft breweries, and cocktail bars sit side by side, and the pace is relaxed. This is a place to settle in, chat with bartenders, and try something you would not find in a big resort.

Why We Keep Coming Back
