Tucked just south of downtown, this walkable stretch of warehouses and old motor-court buildings has become the creative heart of the city, and it feels a world away from the Strip.

The district rewards wandering. Every few blocks you will spot large-scale murals, independent galleries, and shops packed with vintage clothing, records, and local art. It is the kind of place where you can lose an afternoon and not realize it.

When to Go
Daytime is perfect for browsing and coffee, but the district really comes alive on the first Friday of each month, when the streets fill with vendors, live music, and food trucks. If you want the calmer version, come mid-week and take your time.
Our Tips
Wear comfortable shoes, because this is a neighborhood best explored on foot. Bring a little cash for smaller vendors, and do not rush – half the fun is chatting with the makers and shop owners. If you only have a few hours off the Strip, we think the Arts District is one of the most rewarding ways to spend them.
