A Perfect 3-Day Vegas Itinerary

Three days is the sweet spot for a first Las Vegas trip – long enough to see the icons, short enough to keep the energy high. Here is how we would map it out to balance the famous stuff with the local gems.

Day One: The Strip

Ease in with the classics. Wander the resort corridor, take in the free attractions and fountains, and enjoy a nice dinner. Cap the night with a show or a rooftop bar and let yourself be a tourist – this is what you came for.

Day Two: Go Local

Trade the neon for neighborhoods. Spend the morning in the Arts District browsing galleries and coffee shops, then head to Chinatown along Spring Mountain Road for an unforgettable lunch. In the evening, catch a Golden Knights or Raiders game, or explore downtown.

Day Three: Nature and Slow Mornings

  • Drive out to Red Rock Canyon for a morning hike
  • Grab brunch on the west side near Summerlin
  • Return for a relaxed afternoon by the pool
  • Finish with one last dinner you will remember

Making It Work

Rent a car or lean on rideshare for the off-Strip days, since the best discoveries are a short drive away. Do not over-schedule – Vegas rewards a little spontaneity, and some of our favorite memories come from the detours. Build in downtime, stay hydrated, and pace yourself so the third day is as fun as the first.
