Late-Night Eats: Our Favorite 24-Hour Spots

Vegas doesn’t really have a closing time, and neither does its food scene. When the rest of the world is asleep, this is where we end up.

The classics

  • Late-night noodles. The Strip’s Asian noodle bars run into the small hours and are the perfect reset after a long night.
  • Diner counters. Several old-school 24-hour cafes still serve steak-and-eggs specials that feel frozen in the best possible year.
  • In-house pizza windows. Nearly every big resort has a by-the-slice spot open absurdly late.

Our rules for 3 a.m. Vegas dining

  1. Order the thing the place is known for. Late night is not the time to experiment.
  2. Cash speeds everything up.
  3. Tip well — the overnight crew is doing the city a service.
  4. Water first, then food. Future-you says thanks.

The beauty of Vegas is that a great meal is never more than a few minutes away, no matter what the clock says. Some of our favorite memories of this city happened well after midnight, over a plate of something hot and cheap.
